Nuclear power, alternative energy sources & the SA policy environment
The Innovation Hub, opposite CSIR Campus in Meiring Naude Road, Brummeria, Pretoria 08:30 for 09:15-11:30 This is an opportune time to discuss these issues, as nuclear power for SA is a controversial topic for various reasons, and the Nuclear Africa conference starts at Pelindaba on the same day. The 50th anniversary of the Safari 1 research reactor is being celebrated on 18 March as well. If you are intending to attend this event at Pelindaba, please consider joining us at the Innovation Hub on your way, (even if you stay briefly) hear this interesting talk and interact with Prof Grimes on all manner of policy issues related to his vast expertise. The closest Gautrain station to The Innovation Hub is Hatfield Station. From there you can catch the Gautrain Bus to CSIR/Lynwood from where you have to walk to The Innovation Hub.
