STAGE 1

• Choose the category in which you will be nominating the candidate. You may decide to nominate the candidate in more than one category, in which case more than one motivation (Nomination Form) must be prepared. Refer to the terms and conditions
• Notify the nominee of your intention to nominate and ensure that you receive their agreement to participate. Refer to the terms and conditions section 4 bearing in mind at least the following:
  • The nominee may have received an NSTF Award previously. Although some awards can be made to the same individual/team more than once, this only occurs if new work is presented for consideration (see the terms and conditions section 2)
  • The nominee may have already been approached by someone else and agreed to be nominated
• Complete and submit the online registration form before the close of business on the day of the deadline (Thursday 29 January 2026)
• The information will be captured in the NSTF database and provides the basis for all further processing and communications relating to the nomination
• The nominee will receive an e-mail notification confirming receipt of your registration. Please alert the NSTF office at awards@nstf.org.za should this not be received. The NSTF office will respond with the applicable nomination form/s for each of the categories that the nominee is nominated for as an attachment
• Also note that the NSTF office will close at 13:00 on Friday 12 December 2025. If your registration is submitted after this time the NSTF office will only respond when it reopens on 7 January 2026
