The NSTF continued with the hybrid format of the awards gala event this year, with two gala dinners taking place simultaneously in Cape Town and Johannesburg while broadcasting live to an online audience from both cities. The broadcast of the event happened via the NSTF YouTube channel. 

The awards gala dinners were exclusive to the finalists and the students selected for the Brilliants Programme in their respective cities, as well as the sponsors and VIP guests.
