NSTF-SAMRC Clinician-Scientist Award
This award is for candidates with a degree in medicine (MBChB) or dentistry (BDS) who possess a PhD and who work in the South African academic, clinical and research sectors and have demonstrated the ability to conduct high-impact research in biomedical areas and make a contribution to science, engineering, and technology through such research and its outputs over a period of up to 6 years of research work from the commencement of the research career in conjunction with their own or other clinical practice for the purposes of enhancing life and improving the health of the community.
