The National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) is hosting a public science talk by Prof Ochieng Aoyi, Vaal University of Technology (VUT). This is at the Science Forum South Africa (SFSA), in support of the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

About the SFSA: It’s an annual forum by the DST to ignite conversations in science. It focuses on debate, promoting partnerships, and creating an interaction space – similar to the NSTF’s objectives.

One cannot dream of life without water – it’s a critical commodity. As such, we need to understand how local, national and international politics influence water provision. In many developing countries, like South Africa, the politics around water is about survival as well as a decent life.
