The Indigenous Knowledge (IK)-Based Technology Innovation Investment Summit, hosted by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) in partnership with the National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF), The Innovation Hub, the Universities of Limpopo (UL), North-West (NWU) and Venda (UNIVEN), will bring together postgraduate students, researchers, policymakers, investors, and industry to advance entrepreneurship rooted in IK. Building on the call by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof Blade Nzimande, the summit will focus on equipping IK-based graduates with business and innovation skills, supporting commercialisation, and creating pathways to employment and inclusive economic growth.
